A Haddenham-based business is the latest successful applicant to reap the benefits of Aylesbury Vale District Council’s business grant scheme.

MOBA Mobile Automation Ltd., the UK subsidiary of a German manufacturer of construction industry mobile plant control and guidance systems, plus waste /logistics on-board weighing and bin management systems, has secured £3,000 towards the total cost of new IT equipment.

 Despite the current economic market challenges in the UK, MOBA opened a new marketing, sales, installation, manufacturing and service centre at Haddenham Business Park last November.  The 9,000 sq ft facility was set up to support all requirements of its current, new and potential UK customers 

Alastair Brown, Managing Director at MOBA Ltd., said: “We selected Aylesbury Vale for our new UK operation because of - the excellent transport links, the availability of skilled people, a highly supportive local authority, and geographical accessibility to the largest market opportunities in the UK.  These factors coupled to reasonable rental rates for quality premises finalised our decision. We look forward to operating from here for many years to come.”
